Boa Viagem Service Reviews

I have been to Wiella Bistro several times and find the food and service to be above standard. A true International experience and a nice break from the traditional churrascarias found throughout the area. Don't get me wrong, I love a good Brazilian churrasco but sometimes it's nice to eat a little more formally and receive undivided attention from a devoted staff. This is where we bring friends visiting from the U.S.A. We are going again, tomorrow, to introduce Wiella's to some special friends.

Vey classical, has more than a century of tradition. Is owned by a portuguese businessman who loves to leave his other companies to be in Leite restaurant receiving his clients. Normally everything is good there, fish, meat or any other portuguese or brazilian dish

Bar Central has become a founding rock on the bar scene, but it's worth pointing out that central's food may not get the attention it deserves. Central is, by far, the best vegetarian option in Recife (look out for their veggie indian menu) and it showcases mediterraneam food. They may serve the only falafel in town, if you are suddenly craving for it. Fridays and saturday nights are overcrowdedwith locals and it may be hard to find a sitting place - although

Guaiamum Gigante is an Amazing restaurant. Everything is fresh and good. I am 100% sure that this restaurant has the best seafood in the whole city. Must see... The most amazing thing is you can pick your own alive crab!! and they will cook it for you!!!

We have followed the recommendation from a taxi driver. This is a good self-service style restaurant (per kilo). Several salads and hot dishes, very tasty, but they could have more options of local food. Chica Pitanga gets busy quickly on weekends so you better arrive as earlier as possible for your lunch or diner. If you have to wait, they have a pretty nice waiting room but they do not serve any kind of snacks or beverages, unfortunately.

We are not particularly buffet customers but we have been impressed by the quality and the great food we get at Spettus in Recife,Spettus Steak House is lovely, very good selection of wines ( French, Spanich, Italian and Argentinian ) and an extraordinary selection of fresh fish, osters, shrimps and lobsters, a selection of meat and various salads made our visit very pleasant.

Following the traditional "Rodízio" model, they have salad buffet (weak variety) and hot dishes buffet (including fantastic Lobster on butter). The service is a rush, too many waiters, different meats, people taking things from the table, adding things to the table. i mean it could be more relaxed. The meat is pretty good, Including lamb. because they have Lobster and some good food, I believe I would go back.

Went on a recommendation from a colleague for authentic Recife food. I am new to Per Kilo style - but it is very easy. Just like a buffet, but you have a card that you take up each time so they can keep track of what you have eaten/spent. Good selection. Delicious prepared salads. Seveal soups and hot dishes - I tried a little of several of them and all were excellent. Extensive breads and sweets - too many!! You will want to try more than you should! Items were labeled and pretty easy to figure out. I appreciated that! The place got busy and had a nice positive hustle. But it could have used more decor and personality. Some music would have been so great to take into total "Recife experience" instead of just good Recife food in a buffet setting.
